The Social Responsibility Association introduces ten final projects that will compete in public voting for the prestigious SDGs Award for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). You can vote for you favourite project in the categories Public Sphere and Business from April 29 to May 19, 2019 at

For the third year in a row, SDGs 2019 will appreciate initiatives, products or services that meet global goals, changing the Czech Republic and the world for the better. The implementation of SDGs in 2015 was agreed by all UN member states in the framework of the so-called Agenda 2030. The joint plan defines the world in 2030 and concrete steps to tackle the economic, environmental and social currently facing challenges. The expert jury registered five final projects out of 213 in the Business category and five final projects in the Public sphere category. The winners of these two categories will be decided by the public in online voting. For the best projects, it is possible to vote from April 29 to May 19, 2019 at in the Voting section.

“ This year's awards surprised us with a wide range of topics that reflect different SDGs. Most projects focus on education, health and quality of life and responsible consumption and production. Compared to last year, we have seen an increase in projects that address sustainability at city at municipal level. I am pleased that the submitted projects are not just impulsive ideas for a quick solution to acute problems, but are more long-term and more sophisticated strategies that we can use today and in the future. " Said Lucie Mádlová, founder and executive director of the Association of Social Responsibility.

The winners of the Young Leader, Reporting and Foreign Development Cooperation categories will also appreciate the SDGs 2019 Awards. This year's novelty is the award in the Gender Equality category for projects that strengthen the position of women in society and thus fulfill SDG 5. Even this year, the expert jury will choose the Absolute Winner. The SDGs Award Ceremony will be held at a gala evening on Thursday 30 May at the Czernin Palace at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This year's business partner is Unilever. Media partners are Forbes Česko and ČTK - České noviny.
